Today, I’m going to click on the STORIES tab at the top of Bellesa’s front page, and I’ll not let myself get sidelined by videos of pornstars on blind dates, passionate lovemaking scenes, their sex toy shop, or sex-positive articles like “3 Things You Should Definitely Know About Your Pelvic Floor.” So go ahead and light some candles and put on some soft music because it’s time to check out some literary erotica from the world’s most popular brand of women’s porn. Oh, and make sure the offspring is tucked in and sound asleep, especially if you’re a loud masturbator.

Just Who Is This Bellesa?

Alright, before I get into it, it’s worth talking about Bellesa a bit first. If you’re reading this, there’s a decent chance you’re already familiar with the brand. I’ve personally ranked them at the top of my list of Porn For Women Sites, but even without my seal of approval, Bellesa.co gets a good eight million visits a month and earns frequent nods from outfits like AVN. They’ve even got twenty tales listed under Virtual To Reality. While perusing this row, I noticed the Audio icon on stories like You Are Now Connected and High School Crush. They’ve got audio versions of many of the stories in the Bellesa collection. But do you want to know what’s fucking weird? I couldn’t figure out how to listen to them. I registered an account, turned off my adblockers, and even made sure to check both the mobile and desktop versions of the site. Maybe the audio stories are currently unavailable because I couldn’t find a single button or link to listen to them.

If you’re an aspiring smut writer hoping to make your big break on Bellesa, I’ve got some bad news: erotica submissions are currently closed. The silver lining is that they’re moderating content and not just publishing every piece of shit that comes their way. Inconsistent quality is a consistent issue with the everything’s-welcome erotica sites but I like how Bellesa’s library is shaping up.

Cheaper Kicks Than Kindle Unlimited

I figured I’d start with The Game, the Featured story I saw at the top of the page. The first chapter is a 13-minute read, tagged with Kink, Boy-Girl, and Play at Work. It opens with a woman, Roxy, waking up late and fantasizing about the male stripper she’d watched the night before. The intro takes place in flashbacks, with a coatroom encounter taking center stage.

One of the first things I notice is how strong the writing is. If you’re a fan of porn stories, you know how spotty this can be. Hell, even the standards of published romance can be noticeably low compared to other forms of fiction, but Bellesa isn’t putting out that level of crap.

I checked out a few other stories by different writers, including a romance story called Overnight Train, a short chapter from Play at Work story The Price, and a group sex romp entitled Isosceles. Sure enough, they’ve got consistently high-quality standards for anything they publish. But, of course, this doesn’t come as any surprise, given Bellesa’s popularity as a brand. They’ve achieved that through quality, not quantity.

I looked up a few of the authors on Amazon to see if they had anything available there but mostly turned up irrelevant results. However, if you read through the whole collection and find yourself still thirsty for more, they’ve got a small handful of premium ebooks available. They’ve only got 4 books from 2 authors, and half of those are still in the pre-order stage, but hopefully, the library continues to expand. It might be a good way for the voracious smut consumers to supplement their Kindle Unlimited subscriptions.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if many of you burn through the entire collection. By the numbers, romance and erotica readers read an insane number of pages per year compared to your average highbrow literary snob or even the dedicated YA fiction hounds. Some devour everything dirty they can get their hands on. Under pen names, I’ve published shirtless musclemen books that move units for years without any promotion at all. The folks who run Bellesa know this, and they recognize all the potential overlap between erotica readers and porn consumers. Specifically, I’m talking about the porn consumers interested in the vibe Bellesa is putting out. A story collection like this would not be much of a promo tool on a site like Brazzers or Reality Kings, but here, the freebies really will appeal to the target demographic.

While Bellesa.co mainly markets themselves toward women, their stories collection is an easy recommendation for almost anybody who appreciates written erotica. The library is free, wide, and varied, but its consistent quality is its best feature. Instead of building a throwaway collection meant to lure viewers to the paid material, they’ve made an effort to ensure the stories are on the same level as the rest of their brand. So if you like Bellesa, you’re going to enjoy their stories.
